Smarter TVs

I don’t know, if they still have this feature. But for a while at least Sony had a TV on the market that actually watched you.
It knows when you are in the room and actually when you are looking at it or not.
The TV then adjusts the display level to save energy.

Unfortunately, they didn’t listen to my suggestion of calling this TV HAL.
Too bad.
